Huntersville United Methodist (HUMC) has been an active part of the Huntersville community for many years. Our church has approximately 900 members and has grown steadily during the past decade. Rev. Paul Thompson serves as the lead pastor. As United Methodists we believe in the primary role of Scripture in shaping our faith. We believe in being mission-oriented, socially aware, and cooperating with people from different faiths. As a church our mission is to create authentic, Christian community. When you come to Huntersville United Methodist Church, we hope you will find yourself right at home. With a casual atmosphere, a variety of music types, and folks representing all age groups we hope that you will find a place here. Come as you are. All dress types are acceptable, from jeans to dress slacks.
When you arrive we offer "visitor parking" spaces close to our main entrance just inside our parking lot area. If you have small children to check into our nursery ministry, or children ages kindergarten - 5th grade that you'd like to check into children's worship, we suggest you enter the back entrance of our facility where our children’s "check in desk" is located.
Coffee and pastries are available in the lobby during each service. We also have our very own “Solid Grounds” coffee house located in the back of the building near the children’s area for your enjoyment.
Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. In the Methodist church, all are welcome to participate.
We offer nursery care for children birth through 4-year-olds during both of our worship services, and nursery care for children birth - 2 during “The Learning Hour” (9:30-10:15 - children 3 & up). A cry room is also available during each worship service.

8:30 a.m.-"Unplugged" worship is held in our worship center. The Participants enjoy the sounds of acoustic guitar to favorite old hymns and message from our pastor.
9:30 a.m.-“The Learning Hour” offers a variety of small group classes and activities for children and adults.
10:30 a.m.-"Modern Traditional" worship is also held in our worship center. This worship experience includes a message from our pastor, plus both traditional and contemporary elements such as different types of music and video illustrations.
