At Huntersville United Methodist Church Preschool we believe that:

children learn best through play and developmentally appropriate activities.
children learn by doing.
children learn through interactions with caring adults who serve as role models.
children learn through communication with others and through this, develop important skills needed to live in a diverse world.

We are a play based, hands on, developmentally appropriate program!

Learning is integrated into a variety of play-based activities to include opportunities to develop:

appropriate social skills
a sense of trust and security
personal care skills
decision making skills
appropriate expression of self and feelings
problem solving skills
participation in individual, small, and large group activities
literacy skills
